Silver Gelatin Prints
My prints are made using a digital silver gelatin process that combines the beauty of traditional black-and-white darkroom photography with the precision of modern digital technology. Each image is prepared digitally, exposed with light onto genuine silver gelatin photographic paper, then chemically developed using classic darkroom methods. The result is a true photographic print rather than an inkjet reproduction, with rich blacks, luminous highlights, and the distinctive tonal depth for which silver gelatin is prized. This process allows me to preserve the timeless character of traditional black-and-white printing while maintaining exceptional control over detail, contrast, and consistency. It is a refined contemporary approach that honors the historic craft of silver gelatin printing.
Archival Framing
My prints are framed using only the finest archival framing materials including Nielsen Bainbridge frames, Alpharag mat boards, Artcare acid-free backing boards, and museum-quality acrylic glazing.
