Primordial Sunrise

Primordial Sunrise

“There is a thinking in primordial images, in symbols which are older than the historical man, which are inborn in him from the earliest times, eternally living, outlasting all generations, still make up the groundwork of the human psyche. It is only possible to live the fullest life when we are in harmony with these symbols; wisdom is a return to them.”

 C.G. Jung

Miners Ravine Creek

Miners Ravine Creek

We took a long walk along the beautiful Miners Ravine Trail this morning. We stopped and watched a family of 5-6 River Otters and a Blue Heron feeding on fish and crawdads. We're so fortunate to have this resource running right through the middle of a highly developed suburb.

"A lake is the landscape's most beautiful and expressive feature. It is the earth’s eye; looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature."

One Big Distinction

Frosty Morning

"One big distinction between art photography and other photography is that you don't give the audience what they want, you lead them to see and understand (over the course of many pictures) what you want. You can't do that unless you're being true to yourself."

 Michael Johnston, The Online Photographer
